Requirements :

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent qualification with at 0-12 months’ relevant experience. Relevant experience in the Public Service will be an added advantage. Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and even in listening. Must have good interpersonal attributes. Must have the ability and willingness to work as part of a team. Excellent decision-making ability is a must-have. Knowledge and understanding of Legislative frameworks in the Public Service is of most importance. Must be computer literate (proof required). Must be willing to rotate within the directorate.

Duties :

  • Photocopying record keeping forms, worksheets or activities for groups. Assist patients with clothing bank. Creating inventories and doing stock take. Liaise with secretaries, nursing, clinical and administrative staff. Answer and direct telephone calls. Communicate with customers, employees, and others to answer questions, address complaints, explain information, and take orders. Operate office machinery, including photocopiers, scanners, telephone and voicemail systems, and computers. Maintain updated systems for filing, inventory, mailing, and databases. Handle incoming and outgoing office correspondence. Compile and maintain records of office activities and business transactions. Type, format, proofread and edit documents from notes or dictation. Prepare meeting agendas; attend meetings to take notes and write minutes. Manage work schedules, calendars, and appointments. Obtain information to respond to requests by reviewing files, documents, and records. Take inventory and order materials, supplies, and services as needed. Troubleshoot problems that arise with office equipment. Make travel arrangements for personnel. Perform any other lawful duties delegated by the supervisor or Manager
