Our client within the Motor Industry, at a well-known dealership, is looking to employ a F&I Assistant/ Debtors Clerk.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Receipting and allocation of debtors
  • Following up with Sales and F&Is on outstanding debtors
  • Cashflow to be submitted by 9am
  • Prep for weekly ops meetings
  • Uploading docs on Seriti after F&I concludes the deal
  • Attention to detail is VITAL as we cannot have errors on the Seriti uploads Compliance is also a major factor here
  • Processing and reconciling DIC
  • Checking F&I values on DOCs for differences
  • Requesting payouts and ensuring all documentation is correct for payout and liasing with F&Is on any outstanding docs or differences
  • Requesting of Natis docs
  • Reconciling and checking delivery notes
  • Processing and reconciling fuel account for Sandton
  • Settling vehicle floorplan
  • Ad hoc duties

Systems used: (we dont mind training)

  • ADP
  • Seriti
  • BMW Financial Services
  • There will be other systems as well

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working within the Motor Trade
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Degree / Diploma
  • MS Office
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent Verbal & written communication skills
  • Valid Drivers Licence

About you:

  • Strong Admin person, with no real ambition to become an F&I
  • Able to take initiative and run with their function, I dont have time to micro manage nor do I like to. I will however come alongside in terms of guidance and training.
  • Able to ask the questions and do follow ups with accurate information
  • Attention to detail
  • Confident, lively individual
  • Focused
  • Someone who can deal with high volume and able to manage their time well. All the functions of this job are equally important and they will have to know how to prioritise their workload with the demands
  • Someone who will ask when they are stuck, who will raise concerns when they arise.
  • Though the position has the F&I assistance role there is an element to “managing” the F&Is in terms of queries and documentation.
