Full Job Description
- Matric qualification
- Qualification in travel/tourism/hospitality/marketing will be an
advantage
- Ability to engage at all levels, superior people engagement skills,
understanding the value of destination marketing
- 2-3 years working in a visitor centre or as a tour guide on in a
marketing portfolio
Key Performance Areas
- Receiving, registering and spatially orientating guests and visitors in
terms of standard operating procedures
- Leading pre-arranged tours through the park and stadium by
providing accurate facts
- Assisting with guest relations functions at special gatherings or
events under the supervision of the manager and in line with guest
protocols
- Activating audio-visual presentations/features/ designed to
enhance the visitor experience according to technical specifications
- Communicating engagingly with visitors on the various exhibitions,
displays and paraphernalia designed to stimulate and hold visitor
interest
- Performing retail operations including activities related to
stock-taking, sales ,pricing and securing of merchandise/goods or
services
- Maintaining records and reports of visitor activities as well as
reconciling transactions
