To ensure that all supplier documentation is in order by contacting suppliers and obtaining the necessary, correct and up to date supporting documentation before any supplier can be added to our data base. Contacting suppliers for billback facilities where we are still pre-paying. Obtaining tax invoices to resolve queries or assist the credit clerks with any supplier queries and the open voucher report.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Action requests to by consultants to contact suppliers to obtain documentation from suppliers to open new vendors within turnaround time
- Log new vendors with IT
- Call suppliers for billback facilities where we are still doing pre-payments.
- Assisting team with contacting suppliers and /or supplier queries
- Assist with any special projects, ad hoc duties within the department as requested
Skills, Experience, Education
- Creditors / Accounts department experience of 6 months -1 year with travel background advantageous
- Account’s knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Papertrail experience advantageous
- Procon knowledge advantageous
- Possess competent written and verbal communications skills
- Possess effective organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on deadline
- Excell Skills
- An ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for information
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team and/or independently
