Office Administrator (Temporary Role) | Cepheid

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reception and to answer Switchboard, as well as coordinate the Facility Department’s activities. Primary contact for external service contractors.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reception
Assist with switchboard (incoming/outgoing calls, taking messages).
Front line reception and receiving of customers.
Implements and enforces visitor’s sign-in.
Maintain Guest Register.

Office administration
Coordination with external suppliers for maintenance.
Ensures that meeting rooms are ready for planned use.
General administration duties.
Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
Manages the ordering and distribution of office supplies and equipment.
Any ad-hoc administrative functions.

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
6+ years of related work experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Sense of organization and negotiation.
Interpersonal skills.
